MIP #52 - Vote on Accelerating RDNT Vesting for RIZ APR Improvement

Abstract

This proposal is designed to gather feedback from vlMGP holders on whether Magpie should support Radpie’s RIP #14 concerning the acceleration of the RDNT vesting schedule. it proposes to shorten the vesting period for 200 million RDNT tokens allocated to the Emissions Reserve, reducing it from three years to two. Magpie’s vote will determine whether to support this change to boost APRs and liquidity in Radiant Innovation Zone (RIZ) markets.

Motivation

As key stakeholders in the Radpie ecosystem, it is essential for vlMGP holders to have a say in critical decisions that could influence liquidity and market growth. Supporting this proposal could enhance liquidity in RIZ markets and make APRs more attractive, aligning with both Magpie’s and Radpie’s goals of growth and sustainability in the DeFi space. The proposal seeks to ensure Magpie’s vote aligns with the interests of its community.
