MIP #89 - Phase Out mWOM SV and Reallocate Rewards

Abstract

This proposal seeks approval from vlMGP holders to discontinue the mWOM Stability Vault (SV) and redirect 50% of its MGP rewards to the mWOM Staking Pool. The objective is to consolidate staking incentives and improve reward efficiency across the ecosystem.

Motivation

As part of the broader objective to reduce overall MGP emissions, this proposal represents a strategic shift toward more efficient capital allocation and inflation control. Reducing emissions at this stage is a proactive step to mitigate inflationary pressure and optimize how MGP rewards are deployed. Redirecting rewards to the mWOM Staking Pool allows us to concentrate incentives while lowering net emissions. This move also aligns with our commitment to governance integrity, as a lower-emission environment enhances the long-term value and influence of vlMGP holders within the ecosystem.
