[MIP-9] Zellic Audit Proposal Update

Voting ended about 3 years agoSucceeded

As previously discussed, the initial scope of the audit provided to Zellic did not include all necessary components. After further review and multiple meetings, we have now shared the full scope with Zellic and came to this audit layout as a conclusion.

This proposal is being put forward to examine Maia V2 Ecosystem Smart Contracts. The first audit will assess the overall security of our reward system, specifically the Hermes, Maia and Talos components. The second audit will focus on the security of our Omnichain Virtual and Unified Liquidity system. The retainer will provide ongoing support and assessment of any new contracts that will be deployed during the next couple of months.

  • First Audit: The first audit will focus on the overall security of our reward system, specifically the Hermes, Maia and Talos components. The audit will be conducted by Zellic and will cost $112,500.

  • Second Audit: The second audit will focus on Omnichain Virtual and Unified Liquidity system. This audit will take place immediately after the first one, conducted by the same team from Zellic, as the components are linked and will communicate with each other. The cost of this audit will be $67,500.

  • Retainer: The retainer will provide ongoing support and assessment of any new contracts that will be deployed during the next couple of months. The retainer will cost $20,000 per month.

This will make both audits + retainer for continuos support to be $180,000 + $60,000. This means that it will be a total of $240,000. Since we already made a deposit of $56,250, the total left to pay Zellic if this proposal passes will be $183,750.
