MIP-1: Expanding to Polygon

Abstract

Ethereum's gas cost is too expensive for light users. Thus, the team propose to expand the ecosystem to Polygon L2 chain.

Motivation

Polygon offers many advantages over Ethereum in terms of usability and cost efficiency. First, its block generation period is 3-4 seconds which is far faster than Ethereum so users won't have to wait for a long time for their txs to be confirmed. Also, it requires 1/2000 gas compared to Ethereum so users who would want to deposit & withdraw small amounts will greatly benefit from it. Lastly, these days Polygon team is onboarding GameFi projects aggressively. We're working closely with them so we could expect new users could come into our ecosystem.

Specification

$MAID coins

The team will bridge $MAID coins to be exchanged between Ethereum & Polygon.

Maid NFTs

A slightly modified version of Maid NFTs contract will be deployed to Polygon to be bridged between both chains.

Housekeeper NFTs

A slightly modified version of Housekeeper NFTs contract will be deployed to Polygon to be bridged between both chains.

TheMaster

This contracts supports maid corporation farm, nurse farming, and nurse supporting. A modified version will be deployed to Polygon to provide $MAID emission.

Etc.

Nurse, NurseParts, NurseRaids, MaidCafe will be deployed to Polygon without any modification.
