MANTRA Core Proposal – Grant Proposal for Liquidity Provider

MANTRA DAO has always pushed to reach a broader community and allow for multiple groups and individuals to contribute to the future of the ecosystem and expand the $OM token’s reach. As such, MANTRA DAO will be increasing its liquidity provision engagements through a MANTRA Grant that will see a new $OM token investor and supporter entering the ecosystem.

Liquidity providers play a crucial role in any crypto ecosystem by providing liquidity and depth to trading markets and using different proprietary trading strategies. Firms that provide liquidity commit to the projects with whom they partner, and are incentivized to see the token and project succeed.

The Governing Council has decided to initiate a core proposal that will offer the opportunity for a new strategic liquidity provider to receive a grant to continue its efforts to expand the MANTRA OMniverse and the $OM token’s reach, as well as improve and deepen liquidity conditions for the $OM token.

Council quorum has been achieved, as required for a core proposal to be initiated, and the Council has voted in favor.

Grants Recipient Summary: This proposal is a Request for Proposal for this chosen, reputable liquidity provider to apply to receive this grant.

Proposal Summary: The Governing Council has reviewed and carefully considered the terms that the liquidity provider had offered, and has agreed in favor of this Grant Proposal. We are therefore proposing to allocate $OM tokens through an official grant for the purpose of managing $OM token’s liquidity on both centralized and decentralized exchanges in which the $OM token is listed.

Amount of Funds Requested: 25 Million $OM Tokens

Funds Allocation Breakdown: 25 million $OM tokens will be sent from the MANTRA Grants wallet to the liquidity provider in order for it to initiate $OM liquidity on both centralized and decentralized exchanges in which the $OM token is listed and active.

Milestones: Terms of Engagement agreed upon for both parties with continued development taking effect on February 6th, 2023 Agreement term expires on February 5th, 2024

Proposed Phases: If passed, the Council proposes to review the above proposal at regular intervals to make additional adjustments as needed.

Council’s Comments: We are excited to recommend the engagement of this liquidity provider, and the value it will bring to our ecosystem. We encourage our Sherpas to also respond to this proposal by voting in favor of the proposal. We look forward to working closely with our partners to create a thriving and expansive ecosystem for MANTRA.

We will run this proposal for 5 days (120 hours) commencing at 12 PM UTC on January 30th, 2023, and if passed, will have the proposal take effect immediately on February 4th, 2023 at 12 PM UTC.
