Abstract: Quorum threshold reduction and liquidity utilization
Details: We reached 50% on the LBP token sale and now is the time to lower the quorom threshold in a manner that facilitates an easier voting process but won't jeopardise the DAOs safety.
We need to lower the quorum to something realistic. In reality, getting anything close to 50% is going to be impossible. A bit of color on decisions: Aragon votes can do many things at once. Current setting is: 50% out of all active votes minimum, 50% of voting power voting yes minimum and 30 days vote length.
Currently, if >50% quorum is reached a vote passes immediately. Votes are counted as per block just before the vote. Voting is expensive and most people wouldn't want to spend 50 bucks on a vote unless dao promises a refund. Reaching a high % quorum regularly when most holders are 1-2% is very hard.
Experience on previous projects shows that a quorum of around 5% total supply (~10% circulating) would be a realistic choice.
Regarding the remaining liquidity in the LBP, we propose that it is withdrawn immediately and suggest that about 250eth are used for uniswap liquidity while the rest are used as treasury for other activities such as mergers, acquisitions, project contribution rewards etc.
On the short term we are going to begin exploratory discussions with PleasrDao and a vote at a later time would decide how we would proceed.
