MatrixDAO Proposal#3 - DomainDAO donation and partnership

Summary This proposal seeks to use treasury to participate DomainDAO juicebox crowdfunding and annouce offcial partnership.

About DomainDAO "Introducing DomainDAO!! We are buying the .dao domain! We aim to decentralize the governance of .dao for DAOs. Once approved by ICANN, we will run the Domain Name System (DNS) service for the .dao Top-Level Domain (TLD) so that all DAOs can use .dao extension going forwards. For example, maker.dao instead of makerdao.com.

.dao should be owned by a DAO. Many modern-day prominent domains such as .io, .money are owned by private companies such as Ethos Capital (alleged of “insider dealing” and risk of “censorship-for-profit”), and some big techs also try to own cool names only for their own usage.

Utility of $DOMAIN $DOMAIN token is used as a proof for contribution in Angel Phase. $DOMAIN token can be used to mint DomainDAO NFT, the right to pre-reserve a second-level domain name under the .dao domain. Holder of $DOMAIN will also get free $DDG airdrop at TGE (token generation event) in the future (we propose to airdrop 1$DDG for every 5 $DOMAIN *). $DDG is a governance token & utility token for DomainDAO. $DDG can be used to purchase second level domain names and pay renewal fee when .dao TLD is launched.

MatrixDAO can

1. Donate 5 ETH in the crowdfunding as an early supporter and get $DOMAIN token
2. Become DomainDAO partner: after official partnership annoucment, DomainDAO will reserve matrix.dao domain name for MatrixDAO
