Status of Maverick Warrior Program

During Maverick Warrior Program Genesis Season we welcomed 20 Maverick Warriors, who have been helping to build the Maverick community and content through translation, moderation, product feedback, and art creation. We’ve awarded a total of 20 Maverick Warrior Credits so far.

Maverick Warrior Program Season 2 Updates

What has been updated?

1. Simplified On-chain Governance: In order to improve the efficiency of program execution and enable more proposals to be facilitated, Maverick Warrior Program Season 2 will move proposal-level decisions offchain. The Maverick Warrior Committee will approve or deny proposals after a 3-day community feedback period.
2. Incorporate more third party tools to monitor the deliverables: Maverick Warrior Program will integrate with on-chain task verification tools like Dework to verify the deliverables under each proposal .

What is the Maverick Warrior Program Process now?

The total budget to be distributed under Maverick Warrior Program S2 will be voted by the community under this proposal. If this proposal is approved by the community, the rest of the steps in Maverick Warrior Program will be moved off-chain and mostly led by the Maverick Warrior Committee. Here are the 5 steps to get a proposal approved within MWP S2:

1. Discussion: Anyone can start an idea and discussion on Maverick Discord -> Maverick Warrior -> #discussion Channel
2. Proposal: A Maverick Warrior can co-propose an idea with anyone or start a proposal on their own and submit the proposal to Maverick Warrior Committee by Google Doc
3. Feedback: Maverick Warrior Committee will select and post the Proposal to Maverick Discord -> Maverick Warrior #Proposal channel for community feedback
4. Execution: If there is no contention, the proposal will be acted upon.

What are the Committee’s Standards for Selecting a Proposal?

What are the Rewards?

Just like the previous season, MWP S2 will reward qualified participants with Maverick Warrior Credits, Maverick Warrior Role, Maverick Warrior NFT, and USDC rewards. Please note: Future incentives will be dropped based on new Maverick Warrior Credits earned during (i.e., Credits from previous seasons will not form the basis of future incentives). However, the overall degree of Maverick Warrior role achieved might give you a boost to these incentives. Maverick Warrior NFT might be subject to future benefits like merch and tickets to Maverick VIP events.
