#23 Vote for the New MeebitsDAO Steering Committee

Following the results of the Previous Vote #22 (http://bit.ly/3OBVGVI). MeebitsDAO agreed to vote for a new Steering Committee. The purpose for a Steering Committee is to work collaboratively with the General Manager to advise and determine MeebitsDAO priorities and projects.

It is a vital addition to the DAO because a Steering Committee serves to bring diversified opinions and nuanced expertise from their various backgrounds. The members of the Steering Committee are MeebitsDAO community members who have volunteered their time, to periodically attend weekly Office hours and proactively share their expertise on DAO projects.

The designated Meeting time for the Steering Committee happens during the Weekly Office on Wednesdays 11:00am-12:00 noon PST hours that is OPEN to EVERYONE. MeebitsDAO Office hours is a weekly roundup of ongoing and upcoming DAO projects. It is also a great time for Community Members to catch up and talk about their projects.

Alexandre Limpo de Abreu " I’m a serial entrepreneur, born in Rio de Janeiro, raised between Paris and New York. I opened 2 restaurants in New York during the nineties, had art galleries, have a photo production company (https://1500brasil.com) and a real estate project (https://brise.casa) in Brazil. I got into bitcoin in 2016, didn’t pay much attention to the space during the bear market and came back to it when I found out about NFTs in 2021. Amole Tchew "I’ve been an NFT collector since 2018, when I became interested in Cryptopunks - in part because of my academic research on the challenges artists face related to provenance and originality when working in electronic media – but also because I thought they were cool. In addition to the background in art history, I completed a dissertation on the origins of LGBTQ+ social networking on the pre-commercial Internet. I have expertise in the application of Creative Commons licenses, have served as chair of several higher education organization boards, and led federal (US) and foundation-supported grant initiatives with mid-six figure budgets. I’ve held roles as faculty, as well as director of a new media and also a technology resource center. Before leaving higher education in 2019, I was a senior academic administrator. An American by birth, I now live with my husband by the sea in Europe. Kerimbonia Kerimbonia is a multi-disciplinary 3D artist with over 20 years of professional experience in the automotive, design, entertainment and music industries. Over his career he has worked on several world class projects (Warner Bros Animation, Lamborghini Show Car, Jay Leno’s Supercar, Xangle3D Photogrammetry Studio) and created 3D content for live events with artists and musicians such as Justin Timberlake, Cher, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Cirque du Soleil, PY1 / Guy Laliberté, Céline Dion, Madonna, DJ Tiesto, Calvin Harris, P! NK, to name a few. Since 2021 he has been working full-time in the crypto space as a 3D/Pixel Artist, NFT Developer (DickToadz, Cantillionaires), Marketing Lead, Creative Advisor and Builder for several NFT projects and DAOs (MeebitsDAO, CryptoDickbutts, Nouns, Lil Nouns).
