#21 6-Month Roadmap - Building on Rove

On 09/12/2022 MeebitsDAO announced Meebits Avatar Integration in Rove and the Launch of our Social Hub.

We have since formed a strong relationship with the Team at Rove and on 10/01/2022, Punk 3700 (Rove Co-founder) Joined the MeebitsDAO Founders Club.

This ignited the conversation of a 6-Month well thought out Road Map for a MeebitsDAO Nation in Rove

These are the stages: Epoch 0 (Oct 2022): The creation of the MeebitsDAO Nation

Objective: Basic building blocks of the MeebitsDAO nation: Create NFT-gated communities, mint new lands, and build homes and businesses. Citizens can also import their own NFTs, such as avatars, environments, and art.

Deliverables:

1. MeebitsDAO lands
2. MeebitsDAO homes

Epoch 1 (Nov-Dec 2022): Life in the MeebitsDAO nation

Objective: Begin to bring life to the Meebits nation: Host live events, exhibit NFTs in immersive galleries, and organize community games & sports challenges that we can also record live. This epoch immerses the Meebits citizens in new experiences and builds the scaffolds for future expansion.

Deliverables:

1. MeebitsDAO camps
2. MeebitsDAO centers
3. MeebitsDAO clubs
4. MeebitsDAO playgrounds
5. MeebitsDAO Sports arena

Epoch 2 (Jan-Feb 2022): Virtual economies

Objective: This epoch empowers the Meebits citizens to build a thriving virtual economy where Meebits citizens can produce virtual goods, buy and sell NFT assets in the open markets, and lots more.

Deliverables:

1. MeebitsDAO factories
2. MeebitsDAO stores
3. MeebitsDAO events
4. MeebitsDAO Studios

Epoch 3 (Mar 2023): Decentralized governance

Objective: Finally, this epoch empowers the MeebitsDAO nation with community-run governance. We’ll be able to deploy a set of smart contracts to govern the MeebitsDAO nation, run the Meebits virtual economy, and set fiscal policies like taxation and expenditure. Without these tools, the Meebits nation won’t scale or reach its potential.

Deliverables:

1. Smart contracts that manages the treasury
2. Programmable parameter taxation that can be voted on.
3. Programmable parameter expenditure that can be voted on.
4. A simple, intuitive user interface for voting

Budget: 9 ETH

The Rove Team will be covering the bulk of the cost for this project. The team will use the 9 ETH to buy 3 Meebits at the floor price. The Meebits will be used for development and for 3 members of the team to participate in the Meebits community.

Deployment of the 9 Eth will happen in stages

First Payment: 3 Eth at the End of Epoch 1 Second Payment: 3 Eth at the End of Epoch 2 Third Payment: 3 Eth at the End of Epoch 3
