Should we launch IRL + DCL Meebits merch?

One of the many reasons why the Meebits collection is so awesome is because of their outfits. Larva Labs created some iconic styles for the Meebits -- and with an insane amount of variety. Did you know that there are more than 100 different shirt traits alone?

We envision an online store where you can purchase IRL hats, shirts, and hoodies so you can dress like a Meebit. (Certain items will be exclusive to Meebit holders.)

But let's not stop there. We're building the open metaverse. That's why we want to pair each IRL item with a matching limited edition Decentraland (DCL) wearable. The DCL wearables aren't for your Meebit -- they exist to dress other avatars like your Meebit.

To kick off the launch of the online store, we would host a Meebits fashion show in Decentraland to showcase the Meebits wearables collection.

The total cost to get this project off the ground is $50,000 USD (~16 ETH). This includes all setup fees and an initial merch production run. Assuming that we sell out, we'll generate approximately $70,000 in revenue, a $20,000 profit for the MeebitsDAO.

Alternatively, we could launch the IRL merch without the DCL wearables for about $42,000 USD (~14 ETH). Since the revenue is based on merch sales, the profit on the initial run would be approx $28,000.
