NFT.NYC has been called...
“The new CES for NFTs” -Ledger “The Superbowl of NFTs” -Coinbase “Crypto Coachella” -NYTimes
Last year over 5,000 people registered and 3,000 were on the waiting list. Plus, many people who didn't register for the conference still came to New York for the many events that happen around it.
The question is, how do you break through the noise and get noticed when that many NFT platforms and projects are all there to market themselves?
We propose creating a custom, high-quality Meebit Mascot costume for a professional to wear in Times Square throughout the week of the conference. The Meebit Mascot will be in the heart of Manhattan to take photos with people and help promote Meebits.
I've called all of the major custom mascot manufacturers in the US -- and none were familiar with NFTs, so I believe that we would be the first and only NFT collection to do this.
Our mascot would be Meebit #14402, the MeebitsDAO robot avatar. (Mcanical, its owner, has already provided permission for this.)
It's expensive to create a high-quality mascot costume, but it will last for years to come. The manufacturer is Pierre’s Costumes, which has been making costumes for almost 150 years. https://www.costumers.com/
Our budget also includes flights, hotel, and conference registration for the MeebitsDAO General Manager who has applied to be a speaker at the conference on behalf of the MeebitsDAO and will manage and oversee the mascot costume and performer.
