Request budget community-events (Awareness/growth) CM

1.1 Proposal Submission for the marketing-budget to host community-events. This budget will solely be used for giveaways,contests and raffles!

1.2 Main goal Our goal is to encourage community retention and engagement. By incorporating community generated events, we want to organically pull people in whilst granting them MGH tokens in return for their attention!

1.3 Deliverables

1.3.1. For the growth of the community I would like to introduce the “MMORPG” model. Members can level up through gaining experience (EXP). The experience points can be gathered through a number of ways such as engaging in Discord, participating in with social-events hosted within the Discord. Community members gain entries based on their Discord level. This is how it would look like:

Level Entries: 1 Raffle-entry per 2 Levels in Discord: Level 2: 1 Level 4: 2 Level 6: 3 Level 8: 4 Level 10: 5 Level 12: 6 ETC.

To enter, users must comply to a set of requirements: -Be a verified Discord member -Have the “Holder” role (own MGH token) -Follow our Twitter account

Examples of these social-events where members can gain experience (EXP) are:

-Engaging with the community (socializing) -Inviting friends & family -Attending AMA’s and events -Playing mini-games

1.3.2. So what kind of events can we expect?

-Raffles We want to host raffles in the form of giveaways. The easiest form to retain new members is by leveling up through Discord activity.

-Art contests To reward creatives in the MGH community, we want to give the Discord color! That means sticker packs, creative content on our Reddit page (?). As we are building the Metaverse it is important to attract creative minds, and I think we should reward them. Examples for art contests can be:

• Creating something within the DCL editor (?);
• Creating stickerpacks / emoticons for the server;
• Metaverse memes, relating to Sandbox & Decentraland & MGH DAO

-Game nights The game nights will include mini-games hosted in the Discord, or in-game events on MGH governed land (Sandbox & Decentraland plots)

1.4 Proposal Category Awareness/community/outreach

1.5 Funding requested For the budget, I am requesting $3,000 in MGH tokens that are SOLELY used for community generated events. Only when this fund is depleted, there will be another proposal asking for a budget to stimulate community growth through events. The breakdown of cost allocation will be discussed in the weekly meetings with other Workgroups. These costs will then be documented in the template below.
