BACKGROUND

The MGH DAO is seriously committed to foster the development of the metaverse. Therefore, we are constantly looking for new opportunities in different virtual worlds to find lands that will be suitable for our community members to unleash their imagination and to participate in the creation of a new paradigm. The upcoming LAND sale will allow the community to purchase 61 regular-, 95 premium LANDs and 7 estates.

MOTIVATION

The Sandbox keeps growing at an exponential rate by closing new partnerships across multiple industries. Their current endeavor is to build a mega city along with multiple Hong Kong partners from the film, music, entertainment, acting, finance, real estate, and gaming sectors. Given Hong Kong’s increased adoption of digitally native economies, the creation of the Mega City will allow multiple relevant players such as investment managers, music producers, illustrators and other creators to create state-of-the-art metaverse experiences.

The MetaGameHub DAO already owns a 3x3 Estate near the genesis hub and a 1x1 premium LAND near Snoop Dogg’s mansion, so a premium parcel will be a perfect addition to the collection.

SPECIFICATION

This proposal aims to acquire at least one premium land in the Mega City worth 4683 SAND (Approximately 20000 USD) . The land offering will take place on January 13th.

CONCLUSION

Purchasing land in the Mega Cirty will be a bold move by the MGH DAO to further position itself in the Sandbox metaverse and increase awareness of its valuation interface and upcoming P2E experiences. Taking into consideration the relatively cheap price of the primary offering, it is an opportunity that should not be missed.
