After implementing Proposal #2 | Cost & Cooldown adjustment (Draft), an important issue will arise: lower-level scouts will face a considerable challenge in catching up with higher-level ones, as the latter have improved without aging and requiring a significantly less amount of resources. We believe this creates an unfair disadvantage for newcomers embarking on their journey in the MetaSoccer Universe. Not only will they need to invest more resources to attain the same level of skill in a scout, but they will also have to wait longer.
To provide some context, if we implement Proposal #2 | Cost & Cooldown adjustment (Draft) and we don't implement Proposal #4 | Restoring balance (Draft), high-level Scouts will be able to conduct six times more scouting sessions than they currently do, and at a cost that, on average, is 25% lower per session. Naturally, reaching level 99 will require more sessions, thus increasing the need for MSU (almost four times for high-end scouts), but if high-level scout owners can afford these sessions, they will saturate the market with high-level players, depreciating their value and making it difficult for lower-level scout owners to keep pace.
Our proposal is to make scouts with an Overall Rating (OVR) equal to or greater than 80 [at the time of implementation] age faster, cutting their lifespan and thus the maximum amount of scouting sessions they can perform.
If we don’t introduce this change, we anticipate the following scenario:
Voting choices: AMI means "At the Moment of Implementation", i.e. taking a snapshot when the feature is implemented and consider only those Scouts included in the snapshot.
