Ecosystem Proposal: imToken Wallet

What is imToken imToken is a non-custodial wallet that has been around since 2016. We have 15 million users and ~280k WAU that are mostly based in Asia.

Proposed collaboration

• imToken to support Metis on the wallet, promote MetisDAO to our users
• In exchange, we run incentive campaigns with MetisDAO (similar to your campaign with AAVE) Would also appreciate if MetisDAO adds imToken Wallet in your ecosystem page

What's in it for MetisDAO

• imToken promotes Metis Journey to our users. This extends to MetisDAO projects as well, as we can promote them on our DApp browser.
• Build your user base in Asia - Tap into our pool of users in this region
• Long-term partnership - we see this collaboration as more than a one-time thing and would love to work in the long-term with Metis.

Uniqueness Factor

1. Non-custodial mobile wallet that supports custody of tokens across Ethereum mainnet, all major L2s, Bitcoin, TRON and Cosmos chain to name a few

2. Native DEX (Tokenlon) in the wallet that allows users to swap tokens seamlessly or place limit orders. Currently support swaps across Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum and Optimism

3. Users can stake their tokens easily on imToken wallet

4. LON, native token of Tokenlon DEX can be staked to earn rewards, get discounts on trade fees and vote on Tokenlon Improvement Proposals

Value Proposition

imToken has already supported Metis Andromeda. Users can transfer and receive their METIS tokens using imToken wallet. The bridge is supported using cBridge. If we run a Metis incentive campaign on imToken, the experience should be quite straightforward.

We want to make the experience more seamless for Metis users by doing the following

• Bringing out Metis DApps (they are currently quite hidden)
• Push notification and banner placed to promote Metis to our users

Roadmap As mentioned, Metis is now natively supported in the imToken wallet. We are happy to explore other additions if the proposal is approved
