Executive Summary

01node Validator proudly presents a comprehensive proposal to serve as a Decentralized sequencer for Metis Chain. With a strong emphasis on technical robustness and scalability, our validator node will ensure an efficient and secure processing of Metis Chain transactions, contributing to the growth and stability of the Metis ecosystem.

Our validator node has been established since 2019, bringing years of experience and expertise to the table. Trusted by over 50,000 stakers, we have a proven track record of reliability, performance and zero slash history. Our esteemed clients include Lido, Obol, SSV, Celestia, Sui, Cosmos, Solana, and Osmosis, among others. With total staked assets amounting to over $400 million.

Our robust infrastructure is powered by two Tier I TIA-942 data centers, featuring a redundant "2n" network model. We utilize Cisco equipment to ensure 99.99% uptime, guaranteeing uninterrupted service and reliability for the Metis Chain network.

Node Operating Experience

Since our establishment in 2019 and a proven track record in operating blockchain nodes, 01node Validator will be bringing expertise and reliability to the MetisChain network. We are a team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals with decades of experience in software development, IT infrastructure, cryptography, and financial services. Our existing validator nodes have secured value on over 35 POS networks since their inception such as Celestia, Sui, Cosmos, Solana, Osmosis, Injective, and others that will soon launch like Pryzm, Nomic chain etc. Collectively, we currently secure close to over $400M in user-staked assets.

The number of supported Blockchains: As a versatile validator, we support over 35 blockchain networks, providing comprehensive validation services, RPC, and Faucet support across them.
API and Servers Uptime: We guarantee an uptime of 99.9% for our API and servers, ensuring continuous availability and minimal downtime for MetisChain transactions. This is achieved via our two Tier I|| TIA-942 data centers with a redundant "2n" network model, utilizing Cisco equipment for 99.99% uptime.
Server Response Times: We employ 24/7 monitoring and intervention, ensuring that our team is always available to address any issues promptly. With an escalation list in place and one of our team members always on call, we guarantee quick response times to maintain optimal server performance.

It's worth noting that server response time may vary based on latency to/from different regions:

EU: 30-50ms
US: 100-150ms
Asia: 250-350ms

These response times reflect the latency experienced in various regions, ensuring efficient communication and transaction processing across the globe.

Integration roadmap

Infrastructure and Monitoring • As stated earlier, we manage over 35 blockchain networks and serves more than 50,000 delegators, while we offer other services such as RPC, Relayers, Faucet platform, etc. We operate two physically separated data centers in Romania, ensuring regional decentralization and security. • We will implement a 24/7 monitoring environment and alert system to maintain high levels of liveness for the Metis Sequencer.

Collaboration and Support: • Collaborates with the Metis team and other operators to construct a safer decentralized sequencing infrastructure. • Contributes expertise in security, monitoring alerts, anti-slashing, and best practices to enhance the integrity and stability of the Metis ecosystem.
