Grants Committee Election Season 4

This is a weighted snapshot vote for the election of a new Community Grants Committee. The full details of the election can be found in the Moonbeam forum post announcing the election. The composition of the Grants Committee is as follows:

• 6 Non-Foundation members
• 3 Foundation members

The 6 positions that are open to non-Foundation committee members include:

• 2 Technical experts (TE)
• 1 DeFi expert (DE)
• 1 Ecosystem expert (EE)
• 2 Business experts (BE)

For full descriptions of each of the above roles and the associated responsibilities for each, please see the Grants Program Season 4 Moonbeam forum post. Here is a brief summary of the rules:

• Each candidate has created a forum post on the forums announcing their candidacy for a specific position.
• The community will have one week to vote via weighted snapshot to express their preference for the different candidates.
• At the end of the election, the candidate for a specific position with the most votes will gain that position on the grants committee.
• The start of the Season 4 Grants Program is 1 April, 2024.
• Committee Members will serve until a new election is held. A new election will be held no later than September 31st, 2024.
• Voters are strongly encouraged to read the full text of each application and the community discussion before casting their vote.
