It had become clear that the MozaicDAO were unable to withdraw the respective MOZ from the Nitro Pool (as per MIP-1) without the assistance of Camelot. Without a resolution, MIP 1.1 is aimed at upholding the principles of MIP-1.

PROPOSAL OUTLINE Reward xMOZ voters of MIP-1 with the intended 500,000 xMOZ.

xMOZ will instead be used from the Token Tax pool.

Distribution as per MIP-1.

SPECIFICATIONS (as per MIP-1) 0.05% of the Max Supply or 500,000 IN xMOZ to be distributed proportionally to voters of MIP-1, released over one month.

Rewards capped to 2,000,000 xMOZ. (votes still counted beyond this cap).

Rewards distributed as xMOZ to boost DAO members and foster increased participation.

JUSTIFICATION Again, no new emissions will be used and the intended rewards for early MozaicDAO Participants will be distributed as per the genesis MIP.

STEPS TO IMPLEMENT Upon MIP approval, the core contributors will:

  1. Convert 500,000 MOZ to xMOZ from the Token Tax pool
  2. Distribute it to all xMOZ voters (after MIP-1.1 approval) proportionally over one month

DISTRIBUTION DETAILS Snapshot of voters OF MIP-1 has been taken and upon approval of MIP-1.1, the respective xMOZ will be distributed to those voters proportionally over one month. This is in accordance with the specifics of MIP-1.1

CONSIDERATIONS Voting: 1 xMOZ = 1 vote.

This will still be the voting mechanism used. QUADRATIC VOTING method has also been considered and may be implemented in the near future, based on DAO sentiment and voting outcomes etc.

Quorum threshold (2,000,000 xMOZ) - maintained.
