mStable's operations are entering their next phase of decentralisation. This is being implemented through the creation of a Swiss company led by James Simpson and an NZ entity led by James Eddington. These entities will take over the ongoing funding for mStable's development and maintenance previously done by Stability Labs in Australia.
These entities will need to be funded for the second half of 2021, and this motion seeks to ratify if their funding proposals should be brought forward and shared as a public proposals on the mStable forum and snapshot page.
The Swiss entity Gordian GmbH is responsible for protocol development, and is asking for $553,500 for H2 2021, which including funding for a potential set of new hires. The NZ entity Barnem Ltd. is responsible for mStable's operations, accounting, legals, and maintaining the canonical mStable front end. Barnem Ltd. is asking for approximately $320,000.
A total of $837,928 is being requested for the continued development of mStable for the second half of 2021.
All numbers are still subject to change, and will be finalized before the public voting commences.
Should this motion be brought forward and shared as a public proposal on the mStable forum and snapshot page?
