Please only vote on this proposal if you voted YES to retire the 5 MTA/95 mUSD EARN pool in the previous governance cycle.
The previous polls on this subject asked whether the 15,000 MTA per week rewards currently allocated to the 5 MTA/ 95 mUSD EARN pool should be removed from reward emissions or allocated to other EARN pools. MTA Governors voted in favour of re-allocating these rewards to existing EARN pools, and winding down the 5 MTA/ 95 mUSD EARN pool gradually over a period of 4 weeks.
In discussions in Discord, Telegram and mStable's forum, feedback on what this re-allocation should be was sought. Three options were proposed:
Arguments in favour of re-allocating the MTA to the existing 50 ETH/50 MTA EARN pool noted that this pool's liquidity is not competitive with others, potentially resulting in higher slippage.
Arguments in favour of re-allocating the MTA to the 50 ETH/50 mUSD Uniswap pool noted that Uniswap has 9x more total value locked and 16x more trading volume than Balancer, along with being a way to promote mAssets.
Finally, there were no arguments in favour of equally redistributing the MTA to existing EARN pools, only a statement made with some support from the community.
Of the options proposed, the option with the highest vote weight will be selected and implemented, even if it is below a majority (50%) in favour.
If you are in favour of reallocating the 5 MTA/95 mUSD EARN pool's rewards over a 4 week period, where should the 15,000 MTA weekly rewards be sent?
