Should the 5 MTA/95 mUSD EARN pool be retired?

Voting ended over 5 years agoSucceeded

The mStable community have sent strong signals that the 5 MTA/95 mUSD EARN pool should be retired.

Those in support of this proposal noted that there now exists an imbalance after the the 95 MTA/5 mUSD EARN pool was retired, that this imbalance could be impacting MTA's liquidity, and that Staking v1 now exists for those who want to earn MTA with low possibility of impermanent loss.

Those against this proposal have indicated they are uncertain removing the pool will lead to any benefits for other EARN pools.

This is an opportunity for MTA Governors to signal their desire for the future of the 5 MTA/95 mUSD EARN pool. Separate polls will capture the Governors' opinion on how to re-allocate the 15,000 MTA weekly rewards being emitted to liquidity providers, and over what period of time this should occur.
