Project Description: Did you know that Portugal is one of the few countries that still has no legal framework regarding the supervision and taxing of investments in cryptocurrencies?

We can say that, when it comes to blockchain and cryptocurrencies, it is, like Switzerland, considered a “tax paradise”.

The question that arises is the following:

Why don't most Portuguese people invest in this type of projects?

These are probably the 3 main reasons:

1. They don't know what blockchain or cryptocurrencies are. They don’t understand the concept.

2. They know a little about it, but because of some scandals in the last few years, they associate it with pyramid schemes and scams

3. They know what it is, they want to invest, but they have some fear or are afraid because it's something new to them...

And this is why it is URGENT to educate this community, making it more accessible to the Portuguese people.

That’s where One Plus One comes in…

One Plus One is a creative agency, based in Lisbon, and formed by two creative beings:

Maria, designer and born communicator, has experience in the areas of communication, graphic design, web design, copywriting, and social media management.

Tiago, obsessed with IT projects since an early age, has experience in photography and video.

We believe that today, marketing is no longer about selling. It's about co-creating, bonding and creating communities.

Our goal is to start working more directly with decentralized blockchain connected projects and start-ups, because we believe in and foresee the future.

So we aim to create the most effective method of digital communication for tech projects, DAO’S, cryptocurrency, blockchain, NFT’S, etc.

Our goal is to help this kind of projects to effectively communicate worldwide, and when applicable also directly to Portuguese audience.

This method includes the areas of videography, photography, digital strategy, innovative info products creation, branding, social media management and strategy (you can see more about it in the pdf attached below)

Once we implement this method we aim to create info products in order to teach this method to even more projects and to help building more decentralized projects and communities.

In a first stage, we would like to collaborate with mstable by, translating the website and content towards portuguese language. We may grow from there in the future, towards educating the portuguese community.

Desired Impact: Our project will break the language barrier and bring the knowledge of a decentralized stablecoin as mstable em portuguese speaking countries.

Portuguese is the 5th native language most spoken in the world, and is spoken in countries like Portugal, Brasil, and a few african countries like Mozambique, Angola, Cabo Verde, Macau, Goa, Biçau, etc.

There are more than 250 million people speaking portuguese as their native language.

Also, this is mstable’s first step towards communicating effectively with this community that ia growing in the crypto and blockchain world (Lisbon is becoming a place with lots of projects in this areas and the prefered place where people come to live and work).

On a long term proposal we would like to after propose other ways to start implementing our method in mstable’s ecosystem in exchange of funding, in order to keep this partnership alive after we demonstrate our work with the content and website translations.
