The DAO is seeking to renew the "Cat adoption" program with an additional 50 ETH, to be funded in 2 installments of 25 ETH. 100% of those funds are used to adopt under-appreciated (and undervalued) cats and place them permanently in the DAO vault. Once a cat has been adopted it is essentially removed from circulation and can no longer be voted with. The team always handles adoptions in a transparent way and aims to adopt cats that are being presented for below what is considered to be fair value.

To date the Cat Adoption Program has been very effective and taken over 1780 cats off the streets and given them a safe forever home in the DAO vault.
