Anti-TOXICITY Policy

PROPOSAL:

Effective anti-TOXICITY policy to prevent the loss of talented members and cultivate a healthy and respectful community environment.

DESCRIPTION:

Immediate implementation of a STRONG Anti-Toxicity policy by the mods, starting today.

1st DISRESPECT: Direct Warning 2nd DISRESPECT: Public Warning 3rd DISRESPECT: Banned for life

The evidence of the disrespect must be print screened and publicly displayed on 📣・community-updates so the community understands there were real, non-arbitrary, reasons for the ban.

REASONING:

Today we lost the contribution of a very important member of our community, @Mutated Zeuxeux (🧪,🧪), in a sad way, so he could preserve his mental health due to a few toxic members that consistently made his life hell by communicating in a defamatory and overly aggressive manner. There has to be a new and stronger ANTI-TOXICITY policy immediately implemented, so members that are CONSISTENTLY overly AGRESSIVE, DISRESPECTFUL, and OFFENSIVE with other members, besides spreading FUD, FALSE AND DEFAMATORY ACCUSATIONS, get BANNED, FOR LIFE. The policy/monitoring must be quick/active/effective enough that even if he/she re-enters under another name, that type of behavior still won’t be tolerated and will once again be BANNED. Diversity of ideas and great debate must be encouraged, but toxic behavior must be immediately punished, and until we get this solved we’re gonna keep moving too slowly and stressfully because of a very few rotten apples who simply can’t respectfully participate in a civilized democratic environment and whose main goal is to DESTROY the debate and create HATRED and HOSTILITY. Zeux was only the first to leave to preserve his mental health if we don’t do something about that TODAY. Other projects are way more advanced than us regarding bullying/toxic behavior, and it’s crucial that we advance as well. TOXICITY MUST NOT BE TOLERATED anymore if we want to be successful.
