Proposal for Rebrand and Token Swap

Abstract

Mute is the largest native DeFi protocol on zkSync. Mute offers an AMM DEX w/ stable pools, yield, and bond platform as well as a robust ve DAO model that incorporates profit sharing and platform airdrops from its launchpad and ecosystem partners.

Since mainnet launch in May 2023, Mute has achieved:

• 1B USD+ in volume
• 3.5M USD in fee generation
• 200k MAUs

We propose to the DAO that we shift focus towards providing value to all users of Mute (LPs, users, holders & DAO members) by conducting a rebrand to better align with the vision of the project, as well as a token swap with redefined tokenomics that will allow us to grow the project upward. This development would align with key milestones and developments in the zkSync ecosystem and allow mute to expand and grow users tremendously.

Proposal

Conduct a rebrand for the project as well as introduce a new token via a token swap with new tokenomics. Additional info on distribution and strategy can be found on the discussion forum.

A vote for yay approves this proposal, whereas nay denies the team from moving forward with these developments.

If this proposal is approved, within 1 week, the team will introduce the new concept for branding and detailed timelines on execution of these events. ETA for all of this would be mid to late Q1 2024.
