Event Introduction
ShellStorm is a co-creation event for AI builders, partners, and the MyShell community. Over 1.4 million creators have already applied through ShellAgent 2.0. Now, this creativity will converge in a 3-week journey, with up to 100,000 $SHELL in rewards.
๐ ShellStorm Overview
Top 20 Agents
(presented in random order)
Timeline
- Voting Rounds
- Round 1: Opens Sept 1, 09:00 UTC
- Round 2: Opens Sept 3, 09:00 UTC
- Round 3: Opens Sept 5, 09:00 UTC
- Snapshot Times: A wallet snapshot will be taken before each round starts to determine voter eligibility.
- Final Results and Reward List: Published on Sept 9.
Voting Rules
- The Top 20 Agents have already been shortlisted. Voters can allocate their voting power among them.
- Only wallets holding $SHELL at the snapshot are eligible. A minimum of 100 $SHELL is required to participate.
- Voting power is proportional to $SHELL holdings.
- Final rankings determine the reward distribution.
Points & Reward Calculation

Example
- Alice holds 100 $SHELL โ 10 voting power
She votes all on the 1st place project โ 10 ร 5.0 = 50 points
- Bob holds 10,000 $SHELL โ 100 voting power
He votes all on the 5th place project โ 100 ร 1.5 = 150 points
- Total points = 200 โ Alice has 25%, Bob has 75%
- If the prize pool = 20,000 $SHELL โ Alice receives 5,000 $SHELL, Bob receives 15,000 $SHELL
Note: No need to worry about any number display issues during the voting process. We also strongly recommend casting votes for at least 2 or more agents. If any problems arise, weโll coordinate directly with snapshot.box.
Example about Quadratic Vote
Here's how they allocate their tokens (voting power):
- Alice allocates all her 9 tokens to A
- Bob allocates all his 4 tokens to B
- Maria allocates her 1 token to B
- John allocates his 1 token to B
This results in:
- A having 9 tokens
- B having 6 tokens
Now, let's calculate the individual square root contributions for each choice:
- A: the square root of Alice's 9 tokens is โ9 = 3.
- B: the square root of Bob's 4 tokens is โ4 = 2, the square root of Maria's 1 token is โ1 = 1, and the square root of John's 1 token is โ1 = 1.
Next, we add up the square root contributions for each choice and square the result:
- A: we square the 3, so A gets 3^2 = 9.
- B: we add 2, 1, and 1, giving us 4, and square it, so B gets 4^2 = 16.
The total amount of tokens is 9 + 16 = 25. So the percentages for each choice are:
- A: 9 / 25 = 36%
- B: 16 / 25 = 64%
Prize Pool Expansion
- Initial pool: 20,000 $SHELL (shared by creators + voters)
- Scales with voter participation:
- 400 voters โ 50,000 $SHELL
- 1,200 voters โ 90,000 $SHELL
- Special pool: Voters holding โฅ1,000 $SHELL unlock an extra pool of up to 10,000 $SHELL
ShellStorm is both a stage for creativity and a testing ground for the community. Bring your ideas, skills, and energy, and turn them into AI agents that work in the real world. Whether your goal is to reach the top or simply explore new possibilities, your participation is welcome here.
