Per this discussion on the forums [https://forum.indexed.finance/t/first-polygon-index-call-for-token-suggestions] the DAO is slowly gearing up to release it's first native to Polygon index.
This means that the index tokens themselves can be minted and burned on Polygon using assets that are on that chain, whereas previously the pool holding the assets was located on the Ethereum mainnet, and the index tokens themselves had to be bridged.
One of the key ideological questions that the DAO needs to answer at this stage is whether - for this first index product - we should restrict the assets that are included to those that are native to Polygon (i.e. aren't bridged over from another chain, such as QUICK or QI), or allow for assets from other chains (such as BAL and CRV from Ethereum, JOE from Avalanche etc) to be included as well.
Easy vote parameters: 'native tokens only' or 'include bridged tokens as well'. Vote will run for five days, winner is taken as the will of the DAO.
