NEST voting proposal: a merger of the NEST protocol and FORT protocol

Voting ended over 3 years agoSucceeded

This vote proposes a merger of the NEST protocol and FORT protocol.

  1. Background According to the discussion at the NEST DAO meeting (July 6th, 2022), the NEST protocol should jump out of its single scenario of the oracle machine and continue to explore and practice the spirit of decentralization on-chain based on non-cooperative games. Incubated by the NEST community, FORT creatively introduces the infinite liquidity model and complete probability space to the blockchain, which is in line with the strategic transformation of NEST. The FORT protocol already has a large community. However, its brand effect is limited while the distribution of its entire system is not mature, not to mention that no top exchange has listed FORT's token. On the other hand, NEST has been running successfully for more than four years and is already listed on nearly 20 exchanges, including giants such as Coinbase (planned list), Huobi, Gate, etc. In this context, the merger is a win-win operation that benefits both parties. FORT can share global popularity and sufficient liquidity with NEST while NEST can start with a new economic form.

  2. Specification 2.1 The merger of the NEST protocol and FORT protocol follows a) The investors of FORT in the early stage exchange their $DCU (FORT’s token) with NEST DAO for $NEST at a ratio of 1:1 b) Other holders of $DCU exchange their $DCU with NEST DAO for $NEST at a specific exchange rate. The exchange rate is the ratio of the 7-day average prices (USDT price) of the two tokens from July 8th to July 14th, 2022. 2.2 NEST DAO’s asset before the merger is as follows, ETH:539.07 NEST:642822848.39 USDT:-672237.03(accrued expense for community operation) 2.3 After the merger is completed, FORT protocol and $DCU will be withdrawn from the market. There will be "One NEST, One Coin."

  3. Voting This vote will be a single-choice vote. You may vote "For" or "Against" this proposal. By voting "For" this proposal, you are voting in favor of the merger of the FORT protocol and NEST protocol, in accordance with the specification set out in this proposal.
