I propose that we co-create the Network First Codex as a foundational, open document that captures the methodology, principles, frameworks, and practices that have emerged across the Network First Manifesto community over the past months, with the goal of establishing a shared language and coherent methodology that enables us to scale. The Codex would be released as a public good under the principle that contributors voluntarily relinquish IP rights over the foundational layer, allowing anyone to build monetized initiatives on top of it without internal conflicts around ownership, effectively creating a common “prima materia” for the ecosystem, reducing fragmentation, aligning narratives, and making it significantly easier to grow the movement while preserving both openness at the core and freedom to innovate commercially at the edges.
