"In network-first work, traditional measures like individual performance often fail to capture how value is created, since success emerges from collaboration, shared problem-solving, and the flow of information across the network. The challenge is to define success in terms of collective outcomes rather than individual output.
To address this, we will co-create quality metrics to monitor the effectiveness of work and programs. Using these metrics, we’ll run an experiment with our own team—such as an online simulation game focused on teamwork and shared resources—to observe how decisions, participation, and results unfold. Insights from this experiment will help validate the metrics and explore how they can be applied in corporate settings, offering a practical model for measuring success in decentralized, network-first work."
