"We propose the creation of a community workgroup focused on designing resilient, supportive environments for healthcare professionals working digitally and across borders. The group would explore how to sustain well-being, trust, and collegiality in decentralized, digital-first care systems – across geographies and healthcare cultures.
We are already working on a prototype based on these principles – focused on scalability, structure, and sustainable support for digital care teams. Insights from this initiative can directly feed into the workgroup’s exploration.
Why This Matters to the Network:
Many professionals are increasingly working in hybrid or fully remote healthcare settings, yet feel isolated or unsupported. This mirrors broader challenges in the future of work and cross-border collaboration. By focusing on healthcare as a use case, we can extract lessons applicable to other sectors. This aligns with the Manifesto’s mission to put people and relationships first, even in decentralized systems.
Suggested Workgroup Goals:
Map pain points and needs of remote healthcare professionals
Collect and share best practices for sustaining digital collegiality
Propose principles for resilient, trust-based remote health networks
Test community-led peer support models in decentralized settings
Resources I Can Contribute:
Research insights from a 2025 study on international digital doctors
Access to Renos Hub’s support model for digital physicians
Cross-border leadership and clinical experience
A live prototype currently being developed to support sustainable digital care teams"
