A limited understanding of systems and networks of interaction inhibits systems change and adaptability to disruptions like AI and ecosystem breakdown. Human health is still seen through a reductionist lens for instance. This project develops the artistic concept mapping the human body as a network of interactions between the systems we know, and the interactions that remain unseen. The intention is to interactively map the human body as a network of systems that respond to external and internal emotional responses, then demonstrate the similarities found in the organizational body. The focus is on purpose: what role does each system play e.g. the nervous system records changes in the internal and external environments. By mapping the interaction of known systems the intention is to expand thinking and shift perspective from a narrow analytical view to recognizing the whole. The value is to expand consciousness and incorporate an understanding of systems in decision-making, whether making health related decisions or organizational decisions. Ultimately, the idea is to present this in artistic format inspired by the spirit of Terence McKenna's quote. "The artist’s task is to save the soul of mankind; and anything less is a dithering while Rome burns. Because of the artists, who are self-selected, for being able to journey into the Other, if the artists cannot find the way, then the way cannot be found.”I am looking for a team committed to the vision of improving health care and well-being personally and organizationally, to develop the concept toward development and implementation.
