Sub DAO’s Proposal

Summary: Proposing decentralizing operations through establishing Sub DAO’s for key operational streams. Sub DAO’s would streamline efficient operations giving elected leads autonomy to execute operational decisions. Proposed sub DAO’s include: Community and Marketing Governance Technical Venture Research Treasury

Purpose: Potential community leads would be elected to represent a more focused area of operations within the DAO. Leads will act as public figures transparently informing the community about suggested improvements and will provide monthly reports on progress. Leads will be executing operational decisions within their domain, with structural changes voted on through governance. Budgets assigned to each Sub DAO would be voted on, and internally accounted to ensure proper use of funds. This effort would allow for efficient operations within the DAO, as fully horizontal hierarchies are practically infeasible in a fast paced industry. Will also be introducing a https://sobol.io/ page to show the hired Sub DAO members and their internal goals. The page will also provide a visualization of how the Sub DAO’s would look like, ensuring operations are transparent and the community is informed of potential onboarding opportunities. To increase the speed of operational decisions, without sacrificing transparency, we propose to introduce the following Sub DAO’s:

Description of Proposed SubDAO’s

Community and Marketing

-Manage and inform international communities of protocol developments and updates. Ensure that all information available is strategically translated to languages, limiting barriers in the New Order community. -Leading ambassador programs, where you would represent New Order on relevant AMA’s and meetups. Champion the goal of amplifying announcements and developments of incubated and accelerated projects. Run office hours succinctly with AMA’s to reduce the knowledge gap about the vision and mission of New Order. -Lead creative work, which would include thematic video and image generation. Further our brand identity by generating specific brand items for social media pages and public facing outlets. -Create interactive events engaging the community. Some could include Gather.io spaces, or leading virtual meet-ups in Decentraland on New Order owned real estate. -Create educational material to ensure the knowledge gap in DeFi is reduced. Considering incubated projects are not heavily limited in scope, there will be a plethora of dimensions that New Order will touch. Educational content covering incubated and accelerated projects will highlight their value proposition and importance in the DeFi space. -Effectively run onboarding campaigns to ensure sufficient staffing for incubation and acceleration. Involve the community in bounties to have distributed value generation stemming contribution from token holders. -Running social media channels, ensuring that the content generated internally and though contributors is in front of the target audience. -Running growth campaigns targeting both stakeholders and projects interested in incubation and acceleration. -Hosting hackathons to attract and retain builders and strong community members. All whilst promoting and furthering our core value proposition of building alongside founders.

Governance

-Ensure swift information transfer across different communication channels. This would be achieved through building efficient funnels, ensuring that thoughts ideated informally can be effectively transferred to official forums and voting platforms. -Exercise the efficiency of computer aided governance to accompany decision making within the organization. Find and develop innovative funnels to promote transparency and distributed decision making. -Lead token engineering functions for New Order and incubated/accelerated projects to ensure swift market entry that meets and exceeds community and team expectations. -Write improvement proposals that would be managed and edited. -Ensure that governance processes are well communicated and efficiently exercised, through effective communication with the community and the core team. -Collect and organize protocol improvement ideas generated by the community and core team. Further refine and edit the language to effectively convey proposals on varying levels of difficulty and across all platforms. -Ensure that sub DAO’s projects and bounties are accounted for and are tracked. The contributions and their merit would be communicated from across all sub DAO’s expense budgeting subject to a community vote.

Technical

-Have a strong focus on cybersecurity extended through various utilized platforms. Manage partnerships with industry leading service providers to operate at and beyond industry security standards. -Cooperate with the Marketing and Community Sub DAO to communicate internal needs for staffing and organizing developer teams for incubated projects. -Manage and effectively retain member developers to ensure long term goal alignment and efficient communication of tasks and goals. -Developing a DApp marketplace that would allow for an additional revenue stream for the DAO’s. Further management of the ecosystem on a technical level, preserving security standards ensure high maintenance of the codebase. -Implement protocol mechanics changes and improvements. -Directly manage and delegate internal development programs. We will sponsor events that are tailored to developers with the purpose of recruiting and retaining talent.

Venture

-Lead the DeFi basecamp program with Outlier Ventures, to ensure proper deal flow is achieved. Create an effective funnel for incoming applications ensuring market capture. -Create and manage EIR, CTO in-residence programs to engage and retain industry talent. Would ensure that programs are successful through trackable data analysis and engagement metrics. -Manage external partnerships to ensure incubated and accelerated projects are introduced to service providers promptly. Manage New Order’s funnels for partnership proposals, essentially leveraging New Order’s incubation and acceleration platforms to create a strong ecosystem of value. -Engage in listing and growth opportunities through liquidity providers, market makers and exchanges. -Manage potential fundraising endeavors, with investors and DAO’s. -Facilitate treasury swaps and external monetary engagements with stakeholders.

Research

-Provide in depth due diligence and engagement analysis to ensure accelerated and incubated projects are well researched. The research would focus on opportunity, value and risk parameters of the engagement. -Further be the liaison between the developer and founding teams of projects and the core team. Ensure that the teams needs are effectively communicated and analyzed, resulting in seamless acceleration and incubation engagements. -Develop the process and criteria required for incubation proposals and applications. -Generate and refine Venture proposals.

Treasury

-Manage treasury assets with a risk adjusted approach. The treasury will consist of stable-coins, some large cap crypto assets and incubated project tokens. -Organize teams to explore yield strategies and built financial models, ensuring proper due diligence is conducted. -Generate monthly market analysis reports showcasing potential rebalancing opportunities. -Gather the contributor compensation accounting from the Governance Sub DAO’s and execute payments.
