Summary We have identified two major drivers of new users to the NFT space: NFT collections focused on a brand or topic you care about, or professional collectors and influencers you follow.

These two drivers encourage people to buy their NFTs through their words and their actions. This can help the new user to buy an NFT that has utility they deem valuable or art that they like, or to help them speculate on an NFT that they think may increase in value.

Options Our VP of Business Development, Shane, proactively reaches out to new brands, collections, and traders to bring them to NFT.com. We would like to get feedback from the GKC on who they see as more valuable users of NFT.com (in addition to new collectors).

These priorities include:

  • On-boarding new and existing NFT Collections, allowing them to promote their NFTs and communicate with NFT.com Profile holders.
  • On-boarding well-known NFT traders who may provide productive insights, commentary, and trading activity to NFT.com Profile holders.

Would you, as an NFT.com Profile holder, be more likely to visit NFT.com to: Get updates from and engage with (like, follow, message) a collection you have joined by purchasing an NFT.

Pros

  • Prioritization of communication features for collections may increase the amount of collections that gravitate towards NFT.com for community interaction.
  • Ability to stay up to date with a collection without visiting a Discord.

Cons

  • Collections may not adopt communication on NFT.com into their workflow for some time.

Or, follow and engage with (like, follow, message) a professional collector that you trust to have insights or alpha for profiting in the NFT space.

Pros

  • Prioritization of communication features for professional traders or crypto influencers could jump start social activity on NFT.com, attracting new audiences, users, and even attention from collections.
  • Ability to stay up to date with professional traders/influencers without visiting Twitter.

Cons

  • Getting influencers to utilize NFT.com as a new content hub will take time for self-posting.
