NFT.com Roadmap: Feed vs. Comments

Voting ended almost 3 years agoSucceeded

Tl;dr

Would you prefer to use a feature set which allows you to see a feed of NFT listings and sales from NFT.com Profiles, including Profiles and Genesis Keys, or the ability to comment on NFTs, NFT Collections, and Profiles?

Description

NFT.com is focused on improving the social features around NFT.com. The goal of these features is to enable users to better monitor, connect, and engage with their favorite NFT collectors and communities.

The purpose of this proposal is to get the community’s direction in which feature we build next from the two options of an NFT.com Feed or commenting enabled across NFT.com.

Timing

March 29, 2023 at 3pm EST April 1, 2023 at 3pm EST.

Options

The following potential objectives have been identified through community discussion in Discord.

1. NFT.com Feed

Display of real time transactions from NFT.com Profile holders, Profile mints and sales, and GK mints and sales. This would include the ability to like any update on the feed for an NFT.com Profile holder.

This feature would allow us to more quickly allow NFT.com Profile holders the ability to opt in to following a specific set of Profiles and Collections to only have updates related to those entities shown.

2. Comments

NFT.com Profile owners can comment on NFTs and follow collections and NFT.com Profiles. This would include the ability for comments to be deleted or flagged based on malicious content. This would serve to accelerate communication infrastructure including messaging in the NFT.com Roadmap.
