Summary

Please vote to signal your ownership of the NFTE (Old) tokens - you will be eligible to be airdropped the new NFTE Omnichain Fungible Token built with the LayerZero OFT standard the corresponding amount of tokens you hold.

This is the first Snapshot vote of 2 - as decided by the team and community - after thorough discussion, that the best way to proceed with migrating all existing token holders to the new token. This first vote will last for 7 days, and then another will open for an entire 90 days, to ensure anyone engaged with the NFTEarth protocol has the opportunity to claim the tokens they are eligible for. As a reminder, although the token structure and architecture has been updated to reflect the Omnichain focus and built with LayerZero standards, the total global supply remains unchanged at 100,000,000 NFTE tokens. This is the maximum supply across all current and future chains the token is deployed to.

Further chain deployment will be communicated with the community when liquidity is available on Base, Linea, and other chains the team plans to deploy the Omnichain token to.

Other Considerations

The team is preparing to launch Airdrop Season 2 at this point, which will consist of gamified actions on the NFTEarth marketplace to earn XP, which will culminate in an airdrop of 6M tokens once the Airdrop Season is complete.
