Completion of NBAYC Minting Phase

Introduction

The Not Bored Ape Yacht Club (NBAYC) minting phase has been an exciting journey. However, it's become clear that fully minting the collection is a lengthy process. Given this situation, and the upcoming launch of our sister collections, NBAKC (Not Bored Ape Kennel Club) and NMAYC (Not Mutant Ape Yacht Club), it's time we proposed a strategic shift to expedite our progress and offer our community more exciting opportunities.

Proposal

1. End Date for Minting Phase: We propose to conclude the minting phase on June 16, 2023. On this day, the contract owner will mint the remaining NBAYC NFTs and transfer them to a new contract.

2. Pro Rata NFT Distribution: NBAYC owners will have the opportunity to claim the remaining NFTs from the new contract. This claim will be pro rata, i.e., proportional to their current holdings of minted NFTs. The distribution of these NFTs will be random, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the claim process.

3. $PUNK Token Distribution: Along with each claimed NFT, owners will receive 500 $PUNK tokens from the remaining pool in the contract. This initiative is aimed at incentivizing participation and strengthening the sense of ownership within our community.

4. Retention of NFTs for Marketing: A certain number of NFTs will be reserved by the development team for marketing and promotional purposes. This ensures we continue to attract new interest and grow our community.

5. Claim Phase Start Date: The claim phase will commence on June 19, 2023. This allows a brief period of transition between the end of the minting phase and the start of the new claim phase.
