Hackathon for Bootstrapping Reference Datasets
Proposal Summary
This proposal aims to allocate a portion of the Nuklai Community Allocation to fund and organize a hackathon. The primary objective of this hackathon is to bootstrap reference datasets for the Nuklai Data Marketplace, which will enhance the quality and quantity of datasets available to our community and attract more users and contributors to the platform.
Background
The Nuklai Data Marketplace is designed to be a decentralized platform where users can exchange datasets, enabling data-driven decision-making and fostering innovation. However, the success of the marketplace heavily relies on the availability and quality of the datasets it hosts. Currently, there is a need for high-quality reference datasets that can add value to and serve as benchmarks for future contributions.
We think a hackathon is an effective method to engage the community, and generate valuable datasets in a short period. By leveraging the collective intelligence of participants, we can create a variety of high-quality datasets that will serve as the foundation for the Nuklai Data Marketplace.
