Initial Treasury Agreements

This proposal seeks to establish the basic agreed upon procedures of management of the NYC Table 5 Treasury, as well as the associated processes that we use to pay for dinners and other expenses as a group.

Term Definitions

• Dinner - A official Season gathering sanctioned by the Table that will be paid for using the Funds in the Treasury.
• Funds - The pool of funds allotted to the Table as per the agreement made when joining this Season.
• Member - The people assigned to the Table as per the processes defined by the parent DAO.
• Season - The second season of DinnerDAO spanning April 15, 2022 until October 16, 2022
• Table - NYC Table 5 for the duration of Season 2.
• Treasurer - To be defined by the agreements in this proposal.
• Treasury - The Ethereum wallet containing the Table's Funds.

Agreements

• This proposal moves to create two roles:
  • Treasurer: The primary individual responsible for managing the treasury.
  • Backup Treasurers: 2 individuals responsible for covering dinner expenses in the event that the Treasurer is absent.
• The responsibilities of Treasurer are the following:
  • To manage the private keys of the Table's Treasury.
  • To receive the Funds from the parent DAO.
  • To pay for the expenses associated with each Dinner.
  • To use the Funds to reimburse the Member(s) who paid for a Dinner.
  • To initiate a written proposal for any use of the Funds.
• The Treasurer will initiate the Treasury.
  • The Treasury will be a multi-signature wallet on Gnosis Safe.
  • The signers will be comprised of the Treasurer and Backup Treasurers.
• In the event that the The Treasurer is unable to attend a Dinner, they will be responsible for informing the Members at least 24-hours in advance of the start of the Dinner. The Backup Treasurers will then assume the Treasurer's responsibilities at the Dinner.
• In the event that neither the Treasurer nor the Backup Treasurers are able to attend a Dinner, the remaining Members shall identify replacements in advance of the start time of the Dinner.
• The appointed Treasurer for the Season will be Richie Bonilla (richiebonilla.eth)
• The Backup Treasurers will be Noa Griffel and Tory Watters.
• In the event that the Treasurer loses access to the Treasury for any reason:
  • The Treasurer will be responsible for replenishing the Funds in the Treasury to its most recent balance.
  • The Members will decide if a new Treasurer should be appointed.

• Current Treasury Balance: 0 ETH
• Treasury Balance After Executing this Proposal: 1.5 ETH

Voting

• By voting "Yes" on this proposal:
  • You agree to ratify all the agreements listed above
  • You agree to the definitions of the Terms for use in future proposals
• If you do not agree to all the agreements, you should vote "No".

Supporting Work

• Initiate the Treasury on Gnosis Safe
  • The Treasury will be a multi-signature wallet on Gnosis Safe.
  • The signers will be comprised of the Treasurer and Backup Treasurers.
• Purchase ENS domain nycdinner.eth
• Set up Snapshot space for our table
• Publish proposal to Snapshot
• Request funds from the parent DAO
