O3 Labs’ goal to give power to the DeFi community rests on the creation of proposals and subsequent voting said proposals within our snapshot. Our snapshot determines the direction of our powerful cross-chain aggregation protocol and DEX by using $O3 as the governance token to sway the vote. As always, one ERC-20 $O3 token is equivalent to one vote. Today, we’re extremely excited to propose launching the O3 Swap protocol on Bitgert Chain, an EVM-compatible public blockchain. About Bitgert: Bitgert Chain is the only blockchain which has managed to build a zero-cost blockchain with gas fees as low as $0.00000001 per transaction. Doing the math, that means that users can execute up to 100 million transactions with just $1 worth of $BRISE gas tokens. Bitgert boasts a community that exceeds 250k who’ve transacted more than 5 million times on their blockchain. As part of their decentralization effort, Bitgert affirms that their chain’s “validators are located around the globe and cannot be owned by the same organization.” With an average block time of 15 seconds, over 300k wallet addresses and over 1.5 million blocks validated, it’s clear that while Bitgert has achieved a lot, their team has room to grow. There’s already over $5M in TVL on the chain while their largest DEX, Ice Cream Swap, has a 41% dominance in that TVL metric. Other notable DeFi products on Bitgert include Sphynx, Bitgert Swap and Brise Swap.
