OCM DAO Coordinator 2023

The OCM DAO would like to continue the position of the DAO Coordinator (“DAO Coordinator”) to coordinate, curate, and provide support for the OCM DAO’s proposals process, including the Small Grants Committee (“SGC”). The DAO Coordinator facilitates the receipt and posting of proposals, voting, and communication activities relating to proposals. This DAO Coordinator would also serve as the main point of contact for the OCM DAO community regarding proposals and work closely with the Metagood team.

At this point in time, the OCM DAO has funded two full seasons of winners with funding to both Prop House and Small Grants Committee (SGC). It is important to gather and analyze data on how the DAO funding was used, with an eye towards building future sustainability of the DAO funds. The DAO Coordinator will also focus on conducting more follow up and data analysis of what success looks like for use of the OCM DAO funds, and make recommendations on how to most efficiently deploy future funding.

This proposal requests USDC $45,000 total (or the equivalent of 24.5 ETH at today’s conversion rates of $1,850 USDC/ETH) for a 6 month period for a remote DAO Coordinator role.

Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations related to OCM DAO proposals, OCM Small Grants Committee, and related proposal communications, project status follow up, data analysis, marketing, and community outreach. Create and maintain an accurate repository (e.g. Google Drive, wiki) for all DAO-related business: proposals, meetings notes, grants, etc. Analyze effective use of DAO funds. Propose efficient models for future DAO projects that bring value to the OCM DAO.
