Vote for humanitarian aid charity to receive funds from OCM Earth NFT Mint

OCM Earth is a charity NFT created by using only OCM Genesis images, with no color distortion. The art is a mosaic of over 25,000 OCM Genesis images, which together form an image of Earth with a heart over Ukraine, to inspire unity, hope, and peace.

The OCM Earth NFT sale is a limited mint of 1,000 NFTs at 0.1 ETH each, and runs for one week – March 4-11, 2022, or until it sells out, whichever comes first. After the mint is complete, our OCM community will vote on a humanitarian aid charity to receive 100% of the mint proceeds and secondary sales royalties.

All proceeds from minting will be collected by The Metagood Giving Fund at our charitable sponsor, Philanthropic Ventures Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, until disbursement to the recipient humanitarian aid charity.

Three Proposal Choices:

Vote for one of the three 501(c)(3) humanitarian aid charities listed below to receive funds from the OCM Earth mint.

1. International Rescue Committee (IRC) - https://www.rescue.org/ (EIN: 13-5660870) https://www.rescue.org/article/how-can-i-help-ukraine Founded in 1933, the International Rescue Committee is a longstanding organization that provides resources to those fleeing countries in crisis, including providing cash assistance, medical treatment and more. The IRC has launched an emergency appeal to help support displaced families with critical aid. “We are on the ground in Poland, and working with local partners in both Poland and Ukraine… We are also procuring medical supplies and essential items such as sleeping bags and blankets for distribution at reception centers on the Ukrainian/Polish border. In Ukraine, we are working to quickly mobilize resources and connect with partners to establish a response that will provide life-saving support to civilians forced to flee their homes.”

2. Razom for Ukraine - https://razomforukraine.org/ (EIN: 46-4604398) https://razomforukraine.org/razom-emergency-response/ Started in 2014 and devoted to building a stronger democracy in Ukraine, Razom is now responding by providing critical medical supplies and amplifying the voices of Ukrainians. “The current emergency response is focused on purchasing medical supplies for critical situations like blood loss and other tactical medicine items. We have a large procurement team of volunteers that tracks down and purchases supplies and a logistics team that then gets them to Ukraine.”

3. Save the Children - https://www.savethechildren.org/ (EIN: 06-0726487) https://support.savethechildren.org/site/Donation2?df_id=5751&mfc_pref=T&5751.donation=form1 Founded over 100 years ago, Save the Children was the first global organization devoted solely to serving children’s needs and securing their rights. “Your donation to ‘Save the Children’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund’ can help provide children and families with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance.”

Voting:

Each OCM has one vote. The organization receiving the most votes will receive the funds from the OCM Earth NFT mint.

This Proposal is the first Proposal for the OCM DAO on Snapshot.org, and is an experiment on how community votes for the DAO could work in the future. For this first Proposal, the vote will be a simple majority vote by OCM holders, with a 1,000 vote minimum to reach a quorum. For this Proposal, to keep things simple, Metagood will not be exercising any votes. These parameters can be changed in future votes.
