Session 1 Funding Proposal: Community Marketing Working Group

Situation

What are you proposing? I am proposing the funding of The Marketing Working Group for Session 1 ending on 6/1/2022.

What is the core problem(s) you want to solve?

• Improving awareness level of the omgkirbyDAO and omgkirby Genesis NFT
• Raise holder count

Why is this worth addressing today? This is important to address today because…

• The omgkirby Genesis NFT is THE best example of generative music in existence in the NFT space, and the collection needs marketing in order to let the ecosystem understand that and price of NFT reflect that
• The NFT market has been bearish as of late, but with the release of APE coin and other events, a bull run is imminent, and omgkirby should be placed in the best position possible awareness wise for that bull run

How will you address it? This working group will address by doing/creating/running...

• Utilizing NFT marketing consultants to proliferate omgkirbyDAO and NFT in the crypto-native space
• Marketing in social media platforms, including twitter/twitter spaces, tik tok, and youtube
• Marketing in the non-crypto-native space, including articles in publications such as Billboard, Variety, Rolling Stone, and Business Insider

What impact will this project have?

• This will lead to a raise in holder counts
• This will lead to larger music influencers and players to join the DAO
• This will also lead to a rise in floor price

Organization - How will it work?

What will you be doing?

We will first hire the best NFT marketing consultants possible, we already have a few we are currently speaking with.

We will then use best in class NFT influencers to provide marketing on Twitter/Twitter Spaces, Tik Tok, and YouTube.

Following this, we will get articles published in major music/entertainment publications such as Billboard, Variety, and Rolling Stone. We have already been speaking with the founder of Billboard consistently up to this point.

How will you interface with the community? We will have our contributors give biweekly updates to the community at large.
