Session 1 Funding Proposal: High Visibility Feature Working Group

Situation

What are you proposing? I am proposing the funding of omgkirby getting a high visibility artist feature Working Group for Session 1 ending on 6/1/2022.

**Please note that timing may be delayed based on time it takes to get artist contracts / music production complete

What is the core problem(s) you want to solve?

• omgkirby needs to release a song with an artist feature who has over 1M monthly listeners to gain more notoriety and help omgkirbyDAO gain more recognition in the music industry
• This opportunity also allows us to generated valuable music IP that the omgkirbyDAO owns and helps fund our treasury

Why is this worth addressing today? This is important to address today because….

• It is key we establish that omgkirbyDAO can be disruptive to the music industry and attract top music artists as collaborators

How will you address it? This working group will address by doing/creating/running...

• Researching key artist collaborators and getting feedback from DAO
• Reaching out to artist teams
• Facilitating the music collaboration
• Marketing official song release

What impact will this project have?

• Impact on streaming growth of omgkirby as an artist and high streaming song for omgkirbyDAO catalog music
• Greater recognition in the music industry

Use of Funds: Paying for the artist feature fee + working group member. **Another Proposal will be needed once the cost of artist feature is determined, after an artist has been picked

Organization - How will it work?

What will you be doing? Reaching out to key artists each week, negotiating and facilitating the collaboration, then marketing the song on release.

How will you interface with the community? Get feedback and voting from community on the artist collaboration and feedback as we make the song. Leverage community for help brainstorming marketing ideas for release.
