“From the Brink” - Chapter XII”

Having received visions of past, present and future from the Wellspring of Creation in which Isaac sees his old mentor, Barlow, in grave danger, he rushes to use the Kel’Nath crystal to try and come to his friend’s help.

After Dresda reveals she has ulterior motives, Isaac tries to save Barlow’s life by finding help in the nearest village. “Friends” appear and disappear when you least expect them.

“Your friend,” she began “Is beyond saving through traditional means…if he is to live something more drastic will need to be done.”

“The Scourge” - Isaac wonders if the darkness that so corrupted his village finds its source here. If this is the epicenter of what he is meant to oppose. Although concerned about the damage done by his powers Isaac believes he can push through. Respond to the call to arms and travel to the Kingdom of Din.

“The Sage” - Isaac finds himself changed, his mind seems damaged. Disconnected from the people around him. Concerned with the consequences of leaving this unchecked and terrified of what he might become is he continues his recklessness, Isaac first visits the Sage to heal and further understand his powers.
