OCP-1: Proposing the DAO

ABSTRACT

This proposal proposes the structure of a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that would be governed by EDU holders, a decentralized token that the community hopes will serve as the primary token for web3 Education.

MOTIVATION

The Open Campus DAO, which will serve the EDU community and be governed by it, aims to be the heart of Education on the blockchain.

The EDU community will have the power to submit proposals, vote on the most exciting and promising ideas, and make them a reality.

This OCP implementation is administered by the Open Campus Foundation. Implementation may be immaterially or materially altered to optimise for security, usability, to protect EDU holders, and otherwise to effect the intent of the OCP. Any material deviations from an OCP, as initially approved, will be disclosed to the EDU holder community.
