🔴 Next Chapter: New OPTOPICS Poll for Optimism Town Hall Season 3

As we enter the final months of Season 3, I'm excited to share a new OPTOPICS poll that will guide our discussions through February and March at Optimism Town Hall.

Through our first seven events of 2025, we've made tremendous progress in areas ranging from ORDAO deployment to RetroFunding insights, from Optimism Season 7 analysis to strategic planning discussions. These valuable discussions, documented at OptimismTownHall.com/season3, have helped build momentum as we work to scale Ethereum's values and technology through the Superchain.

The momentum we've built positions us well for continued growth as we progress through February and look ahead to Q2. To help structure our upcoming discussions and coordinate topics effectively over the next two months, I've created a new OPTOPICS poll with nearly 20 carefully selected topics spanning crucial areas of development where you can vote on topics.

If this topic proposal is approved, we’ll discuss whatever topic has the most votes in the OPTOPICS poll during this Thursday’s event.

New OPTOPICS Framework and Implementation

To help structure our upcoming discussions, I've created a comprehensive OPTOPICS poll with 20 topics spanning these crucial areas. These carefully curated topics span multiple exciting categories:

• Optimism governance and Season 7 initiatives
• Strategic planning for Optimism Fractal and Town Hall
• Technical development and infrastructure
• Ecosystem updates across Superchain, Ethereum, and fractal communities
• Community-driven initiatives and educational resources

This poll can guide our conversations through the remainder of Season 3, while maintaining flexibility for new topics and emerging priorities. In parallel I'm also exploring improvements to the OPTOPICS system with the Snapshot team to enable more dynamic topic creation and voting features - imagine being able to easily add new topics throughout the week and allocate votes fluidly across them. While we develop these enhancements for future seasons, our current format provides a robust foundation for coordinating discussions through Season 3.
