This week, we're thrilled to launch RetroSeason with a special event celebrating Optimism Fractal's one-year anniversary, featuring Optimism Fractal RetroPitches and Retrospectives!

Events Overview

This week, we're thrilled to launch RetroSeason with a special event celebrating Optimism Fractal's one-year anniversary, featuring Optimism Fractal RetroPitches and Retrospectives! Join us on Thursday, October 24th for the Respect Game at 17:00 UTC, followed by the Optimism Town Hall at 18:00 UTC. We encourage everyone to participate in both the Respect Game and Town Hall for this milestone celebration.

This event offers valuable opportunities to highlight your work and contributions to the community, discover diverse projects and initiatives within Optimism Fractal, reflect on our collective progress and impact, and help shape Optimism Fractal's future direction.

Events Format

Our anniversary celebration will begin with our traditional Respect Game, where each participant shares their recent contributions to Optimism. This core practice sets the stage for our special anniversary activities to follow.

After the Respect Game, we'll transition to our anniversary-focused Optimism Town Hall. The centerpiece of this Town Hall will be our Optimism Fractal RetroPitches and Retrospectives. Each community member will have a 3-5 minute speaking slot to showcase their contributions to Optimism Fractal over the past year, reflect on our collective journey and growth, and share how Optimism Fractal has benefited them personally. This combined format allows us to celebrate individual contributions while also capturing the collective impact and evolution of our community since its inception.

We encourage all participants to prepare thoughtful reflections that encompass both their personal achievements and the broader influence of Optimism Fractal on their journey. This is a unique opportunity to look back on our first year, acknowledge our progress, and set the stage for future growth and innovation on Optimism.

Coming Soon: RetroPolls

We're developing RetroPolls to evaluate contributions and impact towards Optimism Fractal. These polls will pioneer new methods of impact evaluation, benefiting the entire Optimism Collective.
