🌻 🔴 One Year Anniversary and RetroFunding Brainstorming

Optimism Fractal’s one year anniversary is near and applications for RetroFunding Round 6 are now open. I’ve been thinking about how to make the most of the occasion and am curious to hear your thoughts!

The first Optimism Fractal event took place on October 20th, 2023 and our next two events will occur on October 17th and 24th, followed by the end of Season 4 on October 31st. I suggest that we start the festivities next week and organize a special anniversary celebration on October 24th, potentially with some sort of RetroPitches game that can help the Optimism Collective fairly reward projects that have contributed to Optimism governance.

We’ve made an huge amount of progress over the past year and Optimism Fractal’s products can greatly benefit the Collective, so the celebration can also provide an opportunity to celebrate our achievements together, plan our next steps, and promote the innovative work of Optimism Fractal community members. Perhaps we can find a way to enhance the RetroFunding process around RetroPitches with Tadas’ design for Respect Trees. What do you think?
